The Proposed Budget represents the County's spending plan for the coming fiscal year as well as an annual work plan based on countywide priorities. It also serves as a tool to inform the community about County government. The FY 2009-10 Proposed Budget includes detailed information about County services and the County's finances, and provides an overall statistical profile of Marin County. Summary information about each department's most important goals and initiatives is also included in the Proposed Budget.

On June 16, 2009, the Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of the Proposed Budget as an interim spending plan for the new fiscal year that begins on July 1. Prior to officially adopting a final budget for FY 2009-10, the Board will hold public hearings beginning on Monday July 20, 2009 in the Board chambers, located in Room 330 at the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael.
In addition to the website, an electronic copy of the FY 2009-10 Proposed Budget may be available in the County Administrator’s Office, located in Room 325 at the Civic Center.
