Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) is open to all Marin County residents and visitors who are experiencing a mental health crisis, such as suicidal depression or psychotic behavior, that requires immediate attention.

PES clients receive psychiatric evaluations and treatments appropriate for their condition. Sometimes this includes referring clients to local inpatient hospitals for more intensive care.

PES is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
